I’m 30 this March, but still get questioned about my age, thanks to the “think 25″ scheme in shops these days! I’m married to my best friend Andy since 2005. In 2008 we got on the property ladder by buying a flat from my parents. My job is to support adults with learning disabilities, which I love and have been doing since 2000. I’ve got 2 part time jobs, one contracted and the other is relief- for a Christian company. I enjoy both of my jobs, even through the ups & downs of peoples moods! There are stressful days when I’m running around like a headless chicken, feeling challenged by someones mood/behaviour (trying to get my head around it) and on other days I feel really blessed to be part of their lives and be able to help them have a fun day!
I’m a Christian, and stubble through life trying to be more Christ-like but often failing! I love my church, it really is my family… It just happens to be one with lots of younger children!! I am one of the leaders (with my husband and a handful of others) for a Tuesday evening 12-14 year old youth club, which is fun and quite a learning experience!
We have no pets or children yet, but in the next year or two this is likely to change!
